Strathspey Launches Online Ticketing System

Thursday, December 8, 2016

The excitement continues at Strathspey Performing Arts Centre in Mabou! After launching a new brand image, website and unveiling a digital sign marquee, Strathspey had one final piece to launch, offering online ticketing.

Strathspey Performing Arts Centre has worked close with the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre to co-utilize this software. Strathspey is very pleased to have had the opportunity to work with the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre, creating an arrangement which will allow both groups to make available online ticketing.

The two have collaborated on the purchase of an enhanced, upgrade version of ArtsMan Theatre Manager ticketing software where tickets to performances and events, can be purchased with ease online. Staff for each group has undertaken extensive training that will allow them to utilize the software to operate business in a professional manner while taking full advantage of the state of the art database management component as well as leading edge marketing and promotional capabilities. Database development is crucial to growth and success, and in this situation, there will be a shared database between Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre and Strathspey Performing Arts Centre which will ensure additional ease of purchase for patrons who may choose to frequent both venues.

Patrons can choose the seats of their choice, browse availability, and check out with the most user-friendly online shopping experience you’ve ever seen. This type of organizational partnership and growth is exemplary and supports positive community economic development in Cape Breton. It is one of the very first examples of what is a most unique inter-municipal collaboration. Together, Strathspey Performing Arts Centre and Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre have assembled what will be a prominent model for relationship building that will enhance the abilities of each organization to develop creative and productive business opportunities in future.

All tickets for upcoming show including Sin Agad an Dòigh on December 28 are available online now.
