On The Bright Side, their most recent release appears sunny in its outlook, but there is a dose of something deeper, and slightly darker, in some of these grooves.
On the stage since the age of 14, Brian has played in the rock and blues scene with many successful groups including his own project Greyloch, a Celtic Rock fusion group nominated for an East Coast Music Award, Rock Album of the Year, in 2000. Brian has since played on many recordings, toured nationally and internationally, and collaborated with artists like Natalie MacMaster, Beòlach, and Lennie Gallant.

Beech Hill is an acoustic, folk & rock band from Cape Breton Island that blends rich harmonies and catchy melodies with a groovin’ bass and drums. The band consists of Jesse Ryan, Jesse Fraser, Peter MacInnis and Neil MacQuarrie. Beech Hill writes and plays music that speaks to both the young and old about love, life and living in Cape Breton. The band is currently writing music for an upcoming EP set for early next year.
