Christopher Palmer: 40th Anniversary Commission Louise Farrenc: Symphony No. 3 We bring you the crowning achievement of Louise Farrenc, one of France’s greatest 19th-century composers, to start Symphony Nova Scotia’s 40th Spotlight season with gusto. The expressive and spirited Cello Concerto in C Major, gifted by Haydn to a good friend, will be richly interpreted by Nova Scotia’s own Denise Djokic.
